What is the AI Fitness Check?

The AI Fitness Check helps your team understand which tasks are most suitable for automation.

It uses teamdecoder AI to analyze tasks and assigns each task an automation score from 0 to 5:

• 5 = highly automatable
• 0 = not (or hardly) automatable

The goal is not to “let AI decide”, but to create transparency and start a structured conversation about what should actually be automated.

Where to find it

You can run the AI Fitness Check in two places:

1. Inside a role (task list)

   Above the task list, you’ll find the AI Fitness Check button.

2. Hybrid Team Planner (team-wide)

   On the Hybrid Team Planner page, you can run an AI Fitness Check for the entire team at once.

How it works

When you click AI Fitness Check, teamdecoder AI reviews the tasks and evaluates their automation potential.

Typical signals that influence the score include (examples):

• Is the task repetitive and rule-based?
• Is the input/output clearly defined?
• Does it rely on stable information sources?
• Does it require human judgment, empathy, or sensitive decisions?

The result is a 0–5 score per task that helps you quickly identify clusters of “easy wins” vs. tasks that are likely better kept human-led.
