The AI Role Assistant helps you quickly draft a high-quality role definition in teamdecoder — especially useful when you create a new role and want inspiration for purpose, responsibilities, and scope.

Where to find it

When you create a new role, you’ll see the button “Use AI Assistant to create role” in the top-left area of the role creation view. Clicking it opens a side panel.

What information you can provide

In the side panel, you can add a few inputs about the role (for example: what the role is about, context, constraints, or expectations). The better your input, the more relevant the suggestions will be.

What teamdecoder will suggest

Based on your input, teamdecoder proposes editable drafts for core parts of a role definition:

• Purpose – why the role exists and what it contributes
• Tasks – concrete responsibilities and recurring activities
• Objectives – outcomes the role is accountable for
• Domains – areas of responsibility / scope the role should cover

You can review, edit, and refine these suggestions — or accept them as a starting point.
